This remodeled Torch Lake home is a combination of new and old. This lakefront home hails from Northern Michigan’s lumbering era. We worked with our client to save key legacy aspects of the home such as the hardwood floors with "peg leg" indentations, repurposed doors and bathroom fixtures. The historical aspects are combined with a new master bedroom suite with a mahogany herring bone ceiling and a large lakeside window. The house was designed to take advantage of Torch Lake views and breezes with several vantage points from which to take in the views.
